Health Movement Steps is a step-counting game for groups: families, friends, classes and teams. Here is what it does with a 13 to 17 year old’s information. Under 13 cannot use the app.

What it collects. A first name or nickname, an optional photo, a birth year (to confirm 13 or older), and daily step totals read from the phone’s health app (Apple Health or Health Connect). No location, no contacts, no messages.

Who sees what. People in the same challenge see each other’s daily step progress and names; that is the game. Friends (added by a code or link only, never by searching) see goal days and streaks, never exact daily counts. A school or workplace that runs a challenge sees group totals only, never one student’s steps, and small groups are hidden.

No messaging, no strangers. There is no chat. Reactions are preset phrases only. A teen can be found only by sharing their own friend code. Any public features treat under-18s as part of a count, never listed by name or photo to people who are not their friends.

Reporting and blocking. Three dots next to any name offers Report and Block. We review reports within a day.

Deleting. Profile, Delete account removes everything right away. Or email support@healthmovement.com and we will do it.
