“GHK-Cu creams reduce wrinkles.”
Small human studies report fewer wrinkles with copper peptide (GHK-Cu) creams, but the evidence is limited and mixed.
A copper peptide cream is not a proven wrinkle fix. If you enjoy one, there is no reason to stop, but do not pay extra expecting the results the ads promise.
Before buying a copper peptide cream for wrinkles, compare its price with a plain moisturizer; the extra cost buys little proven benefit.
A few small controlled studies report fewer or shallower wrinkles with specific copper-peptide formulas, but the best-described one, after laser treatment, found no objective wrinkle advantage. Reviews call the clinical trials few, small and uneven in quality, so confidence is limited.
Small human studies report fewer wrinkles with copper peptide (GHK-Cu) creams, but the evidence is limited and mixed. The creams have not been shown to work as well as the marketing suggests, and most of the strong-sounding results come from lab and animal studies.
A few small controlled studies report fewer or shallower wrinkles with specific copper-peptide formulas, but they are small and product-specific. A 13-person study after laser resurfacing found no objective wrinkle advantage, though people using the copper-peptide products were more satisfied with their skin. A 2026 review of 20 studies found only 2 randomized trials in people, and another 2026 review called the clinical evidence sparse, with older cosmetic reports that were small or did not clearly describe what was in the product. Results for one formula do not carry over to every cream sold as GHK-Cu.
