“NMN and NR supplements slow aging.”
Limited confidence because human trials show that oral NR and NMN can raise NAD-related biomarkers and are generally tolerated over weeks to months, but functional, metabolic and vascular outcomes are inconsistent or often null. No human trial establishes slower biological aging, longer healthspan or longer life.
We do not know that NMN or NR slows human aging. These supplements can raise NAD-related blood or cellular markers, but changing a biomarker is not the same as slowing aging or extending life.
Anti-aging claims require meaningful clinical outcomes over long periods. Short trials of biomarkers or isolated performance tests cannot show that people age more slowly.
Safety note: Short-term oral use has generally been tolerated in trials, but long-term safety and benefits remain uncertain. Evidence for IV NAD wellness treatment is especially limited.
Talk to a healthcare professional if: Discuss regular use with a clinician if you have a chronic condition, take multiple medicines, are pregnant or are considering an IV product.
NMN and NR are biologically active, but they are unproven anti-aging treatments. Marketing often moves far beyond the human evidence.
Do not use a higher NAD marker as proof that aging has slowed. Prioritize sleep, activity, nutrition and preventive care while longer human studies continue.
